Ingredients
- 1 cup sparkling lemonade
- ½ cup of vanilla yoghurt
- 3½ cups self-raising flour
- ½ cup of dried fruit Sultanas, Raisins, Blueberries or Chopped dates.
- 2 tbsp sugar.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Add flour, sugar dried fruit and wet ingredients to a bowl and mix with your hands until well combined and a thick dough has formed.
Mixture will be soft. - Place on a lightly floured board.
Pat down the dough until it is 2½cm thick.
Do not roll. - Use a round cookie cutter or a glass to cut scones.
- Place them on a lined baking tray approximately 1cm apart.
- Brush tops with milk or a lightly beaten egg.
- Bake for about 10 minutes, or until tops are golden.
