Ingredients
- 4-6 fresh white fish fillets
- juice of 1 lemon
- ¼ cup of chopped fresh parsley
- ¼ cup of chopped fresh dill
- 4 Tbsp of olive oil
- salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Marinate the fish:
- In a large plastic or glass bowl, whisk together 4 Tbsp of olive oil, juice of 1 lemon, and most of the ¼ cup of chopped fresh parsley and ¼ cup of chopped fresh dill.
- Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Add the 4-6 fresh white fish fillets to the marinade and toss to coat.
- Let the fish marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 30 minutes for extra flavor.
Prepare the grill:
- Preheat your bbq grill or hotplate to medium-high heat.
- Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
Grill the fish:
- Remove the fish fillets from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Place the fish fillets on the preheated grill.
- Grill for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve:
- Transfer the grilled fish fillets to plates.
- Garnish with remaining chopped herbs and lemon slices.
- Serve with your favourite sides, such as baby potatoes and steamed vegetables.
