This grilled fish fillets recipe is both tasty and easy to make. With a zesty combination of lemon and herbs, it's a versatile and delicious way to enjoy fresh seafood.
In a large plastic or glass bowl, whisk together 4 Tbsp of olive oil, juice of 1 lemon, and most of the ¼ cup of chopped fresh parsley and ¼ cup of chopped fresh dill.
Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Add the 4-6 fresh white fish fillets to the marinade and toss to coat.
Let the fish marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 30 minutes for extra flavor.
Prepare the grill:
Preheat your bbq grill or hotplate to medium-high heat.
Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
Grill the fish:
Remove the fish fillets from the marinade and discard the marinade.
Place the fish fillets on the preheated grill.
Grill for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve:
Transfer the grilled fish fillets to plates.
Garnish with remaining chopped herbs and lemon slices.
Serve with your favourite sides, such as baby potatoes and steamed vegetables.
Notes
Tips:
You can use a grill basket to make it easier to flip the fish fillets.
If you don't have fresh herbs, you can use 1 tablespoon of dried herbs.
Be careful not to overcook the fish, as it will become dry and tough.
