With just 5 ingredients, this flavourful cabbage stir fry is ready in 12 minutes flat.Tender cabbage is cooked with green onion, red capsicum and chilli-blackbean paste for an addictive Asian-inspired dish.
Julienne cut the 20 g red capsicum into thin strips.
Thinly slice the 20 g green onion.
Hand tear the 75 g cabbage into bite size pieces. (see notes below)
Sear 150 grams pork mince in a non-stick pan until brown and fat is rendered.
Add shallots and capsicum/bell peppers. Saute until aromatic.
Add 1 Tbsp chilli-blackbean paste. Stir well.
Add cabbage and toss for 1-2 minutes.
Serve hot.

Preparing the cabbage for your Chinese cabbage stir-fryHand tearing makes it easier to remove the stem of each cabbage leaf.Since this is a quick stir-fry, the hard, thick stems wouldn’t cook through to tender, where thin leaves are ready to be dished out.When cut by a knife, several layers of the cabbage tend to stay together. Hand tearing will make sure each piece is separated.
