Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Gather the Necessary Supplies:
To beat eggs with a fork, you will need an egg or two, a small bowl, and a standard dinner fork.
If additional ingredients are called for in the recipe, gather those as well.
  • Crack the Egg:
Break the egg into the bowl .
Carefully use your fingers to separate any bits of shell from your mixture if necessary before beating with your fork.
  • Get Beating!
Using a regular fork, really beat the eggs to an even colour.
You want to use a really quick folding action over a stirring motion until the yolks and the whites are completely mixed thoroughly

You can adjust how much you beat them based on whether you want them softly or firmly beaten.
Continue stirring and turning up sides of egg mix while evenly distributing all components together until desired consistency is achieved
(varying depending on type of recipe).
  • Add Any Remaining Ingredients:
If additional ingredients are necessary for yeast, beat these into mixture very lightly but thoroughly incorporating them together.
  • Use As Necessary:
Once desired consistency is achieved egg mixture will be ready to use according to recipe instructions!

Notes

To ensure the perfect results from beating, timing is key.
Depending on the type of ingredients and the texture desired, you should mix for no more than five minutes.
Don't forget to scrape down the sides of your mixing bowl every once in a while to ensure everything is evenly mixed and nothing is stuck to the sides of the bowl.
Additionally, make sure your ingredients are at room temperature before beating for best results.
